A series of illusionistic light sculptures hidden throughout the village green.

A ghostly new work from artist Joel Zika and Collide Public Arts which floated between the historic architecture and beautiful gardens of the Village Green. Presented at the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council’s DRIFT ARTS Festival, beacons of light appeared to drift amongst the trees, lighting a path to guide and beckon visitors. The animated works manifested as delicate and ornate sculptures, each made of precious materials emanating a surreal and transfixing light. This stunning new work features cutting edge holographic screens that will enthrall visitors of all ages.

Audiences uncover a series of three bright circular screens, each of which are three foot in diameter sitting at different heights. Spinning LED hologram technology creates the illusion of an image suspended in mid-air with each screen show 3D rendered content designed to enhance build even greater parallax effect.
